Privacy
Updated 19 October 2026
The short version
- An account is optional: every reading and free tool works without one.
- Without an account, we use your birthday to compute your reading, then forget it on our side. If you choose, your browser remembers it on your device so you don't have to enter it again; it never reaches our storage. It never appears on a share card or in a link anyone can read.
- If you create a free account, we keep what you put in it, such as your first name, email address, birth details and journal, so it's there when you come back. You can download it or delete it from your account at any time.
- We record how the site is used, such as pages, buttons and errors, without cookies and without recording what you type.
- We don't sell your information. Only if you choose Allow on our ads question do we tell Meta which of our ads brought you here.
Who we are
Brand Rebel Media, Inc., a Florida company, runs signology.ai. Write to hello@signology.ai with any question about your information.
Readings and share cards
When you press Reveal my sky, your browser sends your birth date to our server, which computes the reading and sends it back. We don't store the date or write it to our logs.
Your browser keeps the birthday until you close the tab, so the next tool doesn't ask for it again. If you leave “Remember my birthday on this device” on, it keeps it on that device after you close the tab too (in the browser's own storage, not a cookie), so your sky opens straight away next time. It's sent to us only to compute a reading and is never saved on our servers. “Forget my birthday” on the home page removes it, and so does clearing your browser data.
A share card or share link holds only what the card shows: your Sun and Moon signs, your numbers, your birth Moon phase, your Chinese animal and element, how many full Moons you've lived through and the names of your life chapters. If you add your first name as the sender, the link shows it too. Anyone you share it with can see those.
The name number tool works out your numbers in your browser. If you make a name share card, the names are sent to our server to draw the image and aren't stored.
Your free account
When you create an account from your reading, we keep your first name, email address and birth date, with your language, time zone and how you found Signology. If you add them, we also keep your birth time, birth city (with its coordinates and time zone), the full name on your birth certificate, the goals and intention you choose, your journal pages and how you rated each day, and whether you joined the Plus waitlist.
There's no password. To sign in, we email you a link that works once; pressing it sets a cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for up to six months. You can sign out on one device or on every device from your account.
Your account is stored privately with Supabase, Loops sends the sign-in emails, and Vercel runs the site, all on our behalf. When you type your birth city, the letters you type are sent to Open-Meteo's place search to find it; nothing else about you is sent, and we don't store the search.
If you start Plus, you buy it through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which is the seller of record. Stripe receives your email address, your billing address and your payment details directly, to take payment and charge the right sales tax or VAT. We keep only Stripe's customer and subscription numbers, your plan, its status and its dates. We never see or store your card number.
Your journal is private to your account. We don't read it or use it for marketing, and it isn't sent to Celeste.
From your account you can download everything we hold about you as a file, or delete your account. Deleting removes, at once, your account, every journal page, your morning-note subscription, the sign-up record from your reading and your contact in our email service.
Readings saved by email before accounts
Before 14 October 2026, people could ask us to email their reading without an account. For them we keep the first name, email address, Sun sign, language, time zone and how they found Signology, and, for the morning note, the birth month and day, never the year.
The button in our email carries your birthday in encrypted form, so only our server can read it. If you don't press it, we don't write again.
We store these details privately with Vercel, and Loops sends our emails, both on our behalf. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted, write to hello@signology.ai.
Counting visits and fixing problems
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't set cookies, and it counts visitors with a hash that changes every day, so we can't follow you from one day to the next.
We also keep our own record of how the site is used: which pages open, which buttons and links are pressed, how far a page is scrolled, how fast it loads and any errors, with the type of device, browser, operating system and country. Each visit gets a random number that lasts until you close the tab. It isn't a cookie, and it isn't linked to your name or email.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see where pages are hard to use. It records how a page looks and how it is scrolled, tapped and clicked, as a replay and a heatmap. It runs without cookies, and everything typed into a form and every reading or result computed from a birthday is hidden from it. It never runs on your account, your journal, the Plus pages, the sign-in pages, the tools that show names you type, or links that carry a name or a code. Microsoft provides Clarity under its own privacy statement, and recordings are deleted after 30 days.
We never record what you type into a form. Birthdays, names and email addresses are left out, and anything that looks like an email address or a long number is hidden. We delete these records after 12 months.
Ads on Facebook and Instagram
The first time you visit, we ask whether we may use Meta's pixel. If you choose Allow, it runs on our public pages only (the home page, the free tool pages and the Plus page) to tell us which of our ads brought people here. It sets Meta's cookies and sends Meta the page address, your browser details and your network address. It doesn't read what's on the page or what you type, it goes quiet as soon as your reading appears on the home page, and it never runs on reading pages, your account, your journal or the Plus member pages.
If you chose Allow and then confirm a new free account from the link in our email, or start Plus, our server also tells Meta, with your email address turned into a scrambled code (a hash) so Meta can match it to an ad click without receiving the address itself. For Plus, we report the start and the first payment only, and we keep Meta's cookie values and your browser details with your subscription at Stripe for this.
If you choose No thanks, nothing is sent to Meta. You can change your answer anytime with Ad choices at the bottom of every page; if you're signed in, that also erases the Meta values stored with your subscription. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.
The Signology Plus beta
If you join the beta with an invite, a cookie keeps the beta open on that device for six months.
The people you add, your daily check-ins and, if you ask, your birthday stay in your browser's storage on that device. They aren't sent to an account, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Feedback you send is stored with the page it came from and, if you add it, your email address, so we can reply.
To answer a question, Celeste sends the computed facts of your reading (your signs, numbers and chapter dates, never your name or email) to Anthropic, whose AI model writes the answer. Anthropic processes them on our behalf and doesn't use them to train its models. We keep the question, the answer and your Sun sign for 12 months, to check the quality of her answers.
The morning note
If you sign up for the morning note, we keep your email address, your birth month and day, your language and your time zone, so we can send the right note at the right hour. We don't need your birth year for it.
Supabase stores this list and Loops sends the emails, both on our behalf. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we delete your details.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy. Write to hello@signology.ai and we'll answer within 30 days. Residents of California, the EU, the UK and Brazil have these rights by law, and we offer them to everyone.
Signology is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page first and change the date at the top.
